Are you interested in seeing an animation of your half time drill? There is a free download that will allow you to do this.
Visit this link and download the free player. There are some special instructions for Vista users here. Then you will need the file for our show, which is found at the end of this post under the "attachments." Get that before you run the program.
Directions for iPAS (thanks Penn Trafford Bands)
Download and Install iPAS (Pyware Student Viewer) from the Pyware web site. Vista users remember to see these instructions.
Save to your Desktop the iPAS shortcut icon or pull into your doc on a Mac.
Open iPAS from your Desktop by clicking on the program icon (3D Performer's Practice Tools). The first screen will contain the copyright and serial number information. Click on "Continue". The next screen will ask you "Do you want to check online for free iPAS updates?" Click on "Skip For Now".
The screen that appears next is where you select "Activate" and type in your Group Activation Code. You are going to skip this and be a guest performer, so again press "Skip for Now."
You will return back to the "Select your Cast Member name" screen. Create a new name and then "Log In". After you "Log In", the next screen is "What do you want to do"? Select "Performer's Practice Tools (Marching Shows)".
This next step is where you locate your Pyware drill on your computer to import. This is the "Pick a 3D Java Drill or Production" screen. On the left, click on the "Import & Delete" button. This will open the "3D Java Drill File Manager".
On the right, click on "Import a Drill". This will open the "Browse" or "Look In:" screen where you can locate your saved .3dj drill files on your computer. Find your drill and highlight the drill file name so it shows up in the "File Name:" box. Click on "Import".
After importing the drill, click on "Go Back". You will now have the "Pick a 3D Java Drill or Production" screen. Highlight our drill. It will appear in the black box at the bottom. Click on "Next". Now it will tell you that there are no cast members. Don't worry, just press "I want to be a guest performer. The next screen will show our set zero. Find your position and click it. The "Select a 3D Java Performer's Tool" screen will appear. Select "Drill Explorer".
To animate the drill, click on the "play" arrow on the player control. At first we have a hold, so nothing will happen, but just keep watching. There is also a "pause" and "stop" button. To exit iPAS, click on "Go Back" twice to return you to the "What do you want to do" screen. Click on "Exit iPAS". Make sure you animate the drill so you can follow your movements throughout the show.
There is no audio right now, but that's OK just focus on your movements.
