Send to friendMr. Stombres has been teaching band for more than 25 years. He holds degrees from Illinois State University and Northwestern University. He is also on the faculty at the Birch Creek Academy in Door County, Wisconsin. He was the first band director at SCN and currently teaches concert bands, jazz bands, and orchestras at the school.
Mr. Stombres has had his ensembles invited to the SuperState Invitational, the National Concert Band Festival, and the Midwest International Clinic.
