2011 Concert Attire/Marching Uniform Ordering and Fitting Days

Concert Attire fittings:

Students are fitted for and purchase concert dresses and tuxedo pants/shirt/jackets through St. Charles North High School.  Exact clothing requirements are listed on the "What to Wear" page.

Students need to purchase Black Tuxedo Ties.  These ties will be available later from the school store.

Marching Band Uniforms:

Students are fitted for Marching Band Uniforms, Hats, Raincoats, and the official St. Charles North Marching Band Shoes during Uniform Fitting Days.  Marching Band students will be fitted during rehearsal time. 

Blue SCN Music Polo shirts and white ball caps will be available at the St. Charles North School Store.

All Band students pay the Uniform Cleaning Fee of $7.40 to cover cleaning of marching band uniforms.  This fee is paid using the Concert Attire/Uniform Fee and Order Form. This online form will tell you the total amount to bring to the fitting for non-school store items.

Volunteers:

Please consider helping on any of these three evenings.  This is a way to meed other music parents and get involved with Friends of Music, your Music Booster Club.  Listed below are the areas we need help in:  If you are interested in helping in any way please contact: lori.georgeson@sbcglobal.net.

Volunteer Coordinator:  This can be done from home.  Parents would email you when they could work, you would sign them up and respond - keeping a master list of what times they are coming and what they signed up to do.

Check-In:  Handing out forms, having kids completely fill them out and keeping track of who has been through the area to be fitted.

Food Coordinator:  Would you like to help coordinate food for all the volunteers?  Or, would you like to bring in something to share?  We are in need of someone to coordinate the food each day. 

Concert Wear:  Help size the students for their Tux Jackets, shirts and pants and size the girls for their dresses.

Fittings and Sewing:  Help with marching band fittings.  And, can you sew?  We are in need of parents who can sew or tack a hem.

Rain Coats:  Help size and number the rain coats.

Hats:  Help size and number the hats.

Shoe Sizing:  Help size new students for marching band shoes.  Help returning students order shoes if they need new ones.

Data Entry/Checkout:  Taking care of the administrative and spreadsheet work.

Spirit Wear Table:  Help sell 2011-2012 spirit wear

Volunteer Table:  Explain all the opportunities available for parent volunteer throughout the year and take sign ups.
