SCN is pleased to offer six concert band classes that meet each day as a part of the curricular offerings. The classes available are:
- Freshman Concert Band (two)
- Symphonic Band (three, two of which are auditioned)
- Wind Ensemble
These bands give several concerts each semester (see the online calendar). Additionally, marching band is a required co-curricular component of the class. Students who enroll in a concert band are eligible to take a jazz band class during their lunch (they eat at the end of the period).
Auditions for the audition bands take place each February.
